Christmas gift for boyfriend

I think a Best Buy Gift Card would make a great Christmas gift for a boyfriend. Most people would agree that guys are harder to shop for especially because when you walk into the a store the women's section is usually bigger than the small selection of stuff for men.

I know what you're thinking 'gift cards are the easy way out', or 'they're the ultimate last minute gift idea' but think about it... what if you got a gift card to your absolute favorite place. Instead of getting a gift that you may or may not have liked, you are granted the power to choose your own gift at the place you love to shop (or could be to your favorite restaurant). If the gift is chosen by you its gotta be a great present! Who thought of the gift card idea? Props to you.

But why Best Buy out of all places? It doesn't have to be but here's what made me think of it... To start everyone uses technology. Second, guys tend not to like shopping as much as girls do especially for clothes. In general boys rather shop for gadgets, games, stuff.. and show off their new wide-screen t.v., their nintendo wii / play station or how they have the latest video game... ohhh and their movie collections. I'm sure you get the picture.

As I said, a gift card to Best Buy is just an idea, you might know of another place your boyfriend likes to shop frequently. Just keep in mind the gift card idea works as a perfect gift only when it's a card to a favorite store because there are more chances that they'll find something they actually want to buy.

Choosing a gift card to the right place is important. That will make or break this gift idea. I'll admit I once received a starbucks gift card and never used it. Instead, I re-gift it. I am of the rare species that never drinks coffee. I simply gave it to someone that drank coffee.

More Gift ideas for him:
  • magazine subscription
  • tickets to his favorite sports game
  • Electronics

Birthday gift ideas for 3 year olds

I'm sure you've heard about the plenty of studies that say kids watch too much t.v. and specialists recommend no tv for kids age under 3. Maybe you've heard about the studies that say that the first 3 years of life are critical but I also read somewhere on the internet that toddlers that watch more television tend to talk less.

With that in mind, the best gift for a toddler would be something that entertains them while sparking their imagination.

Toddler Gift Idea #1: Books
Kids love books. Creates bonding time between the child and parent when the toddler is being read too but a child also enjoys using their imagination while 'reading' to themselves. Some people might not think of a book being just as fun as a toy but when books are introduced early, you'll be surprised how much kids end up liking books.

More gift ideas for 3 year olds:

  • play-doh creativity center
  • jumbo legos (small parts are dangerous for kids ages 3 and under)
  • colorful floor mats
  • Play doh super craft caddy
  • Toy Kitchen
  • Mr. Potato Head

Wedding Anniversary Gift Ideas

I'd say about 3 years ago, I made a massage therapy appointment for my husband as a wedding anniversary gift. His thoughts, at first, were 'I'm not going to like this' but was later surprised to see how much he truly enjoyed it. He kept talking about how relaxed he felt.

In fact, the gift was such a success he insisted I make an appointment for myself. A week later, not ever having experienced a professional massage before, I went to my appointment. Before then, I had only imagined how great it would be to get a massage. Just like my husband, I was pretty amazed.

The following year we went both went for a repeat. The third year we scheduled a couple's massage session.

It's romantic and relaxing. Anyone could benefit from a massage and I can't imagine anyone that tries it, not enjoying it. A big bonus is that there are numerous health benefits aside from it's reputation as a stress-reliever.

Special Gift For College Graduate

Special Gift For College Graduate

Chances are, by the time a student graduates from college, he or she will already owe a pretty hefty debt from student loans that have been accruing interest even before they are obliged to start making payments. Stepping a foot into the real world with already owing debt is tough. Stress keeps growing as years pass and only a small dent has been made by chipping away with payments.

The best gift idea for a recent grad is a payment towards their student loan(s).

However, here are other grad gift ideas to consider:

  • A trip or money towards one. Travel is sometimes a much needed break from more than 12 years of a school career.
  • Clothing gift card to help the recent grad shop for the perfect interview outfit or business wear.
  • Business clothing or business clothing accessories
  • A wallet (with money in it, possibly)
  • Laptop or computer accessories such as a thumb drive.

Unique 25th Wedding Anniversary Gift Ideas For A Man

Traditionally, the 25th Wedding Anniversary is the Silver Anniversary. Typically, you'll find the usual silver jewelry and engraved silver keepsakes throughout the internet. Personally, I think a silver watch would make an elegant gift but its also what comes to mind first for most people. I wanted to post something a little more unique so I did a little "googling" myself. I did come across an unique idea for a 25 year wedding anniversary: One-of-a-Kind Anniversary Gift Idea:

  1. Unique Couples Ring from ByLiad.com: A silver ring that features the couples portrait. This ring is also offered at findgift.com with a 10% off coupon posted http://www.findgift.com/gift-ideas/pid-131978/
  2. http://marriage.about.com had some pretty good ideas. Here's one I liked: "Put together a CD with songs from the era of the marriage date."

Quick Quide to The Best Gift Ideas

From choosing unique gifts for friends to perfecting the way it is wrapped, I enjoy putting my creative thoughts into gift-giving. My blog is full of useful tips and my best gift ideas to help you find the ultimate gift. Whether it's for a family member, your bff, a boyfriend/girlfriend, or the sweetest-most-helpful co-worker at the office, you'll find something that will (at least) point you in the right direction.

The saying 'its the thought that counts' is so true when it comes to finding the best gift ideas because if you really do put some thought into choosing a gift for someone, you might just get the very thing they jotted down on their letter to Santa.

The key is to keep in mind all the things you know about the person who will be receiving the gift. For example, their career (if they like what they do) and hobbies are among some of the clues you can use to figure out what they might consider to be a top gift item. In choosing a gift, the key is to keep in mind all the things you know about the person who will be receiving the gift. For example, their career (specially if they enjoy what they do) and hobbies are among some of the clues you can use to figure out what they might consider to be a top gift item.

To begin your hunt for a gift, start by asking yourself a few general questions, such as "What does he or she do for a living?" But to land that oh-so-thoughtful gift, think of some creative questions such as "Does he/she go on lot of business trips?

To help, I've created a list of questions.

  • What does he or she do for a living?
  • What are his/her hobbies? Sports? Baking? Painting?
  • Is he or she a college student?
  • Is he or she a parent?
  • How old is she or he?
  • Does she or he go to the movie theatre every weekend?
  • Do they have a favorite food? favorite restaurant?
