I'm sure you've heard about the plenty of studies that say kids watch too much t.v. and specialists recommend no tv for kids age under 3. Maybe you've heard about the studies that say that the first 3 years of life are critical but I also read somewhere on the internet that toddlers that watch more television tend to talk less.
With that in mind, the best gift for a toddler would be something that entertains them while sparking their imagination.

Kids love books. Creates bonding time between the child and parent when the toddler is being read too but a child also enjoys using their imagination while 'reading' to themselves.
